  • What has led to the Black Lives Matters Movement? Looking at violent acts that are committed against blacks in NYC. How do in the intersection of race, class, gender, sexuality contribute to the different experience of oppression?
  • In what ways might it be perceived that the “All Lives Movement” erases the realities of black people in this country?
  • How do we respond to tragedy and injustice?
  • How does the geography and history of NYC impact the Black Lives Matter Movement? How does the Black Lives Matter Movement impact NYC?
