Some ancient dinosaurs made nests, laid eggs, and tended to their babies—just like today’s birds and crocodiles. Scientists think that many dinosaur species sported primitive feathers—precursors to those birds use to fly, court mates, and more.

Visited Central Park Zoo
A nice small Zoo with some interesting animals. There is a tropical environment with many tropical plants and animals. Of interest is a shoal of piranha. We also saw three species of penguins. Then there was the petting zoo. Here we saw an Alpaca, goats, sheep, pigs and a cow. There were many species of ducks and a big owl. We saw the sea lion show. They do this when it is feeding time. The use this opportunity to inspect the sea lion for injuries and pest attack. We ended the visit by viewing the 4D movie the Ice Age. A total amazing experience.

  • 10/27/16- Visted the NYC Aquarium When I went to the NYC Aquarium I saw that there was only 4 exhibits. So after the trip had ended I researched why there are only 4 exhibits and it was because Hurricane Sandy destroyed some of the exhibits. Luckily the aquarium will be making a new thrilling exhibit for the sharks that would be called Ocean Wonders making you be able to see portions of the park that was closed.
  • The weather was bad, and the sea lion show was cancelled.
