Biological Science Explorations will explore plant and animal life from around the world that live in New York City. We envisage visiting the world renowned Bronx Zoo where we can see endangered species of animals as well as animals living in unique places such as Madagascar, Africa, and Asia and look at their evolutionary patterns. We will go to the NYC aquarium, and will see the newly constructed Ocean Wonders and have some close encounters with some of the aquatic animals. the NYC Natural History Museum we will look at an IMAX film on Blue Oceans and tour the dinosaur exhibit. The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens we will have a self guided tour of the garden. We plan on going to Central Park to view some of the resident birds there and study their history. Students will be engaging in activities at all of these sites to explore the diversity of living things.
