                                                WILDLIFE  RENSIZZLE

In wildlife rensizzle, I went to many forest trails. The wildlife reserves that I went to were Sands Point, Ally Pond Park, and the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. The trails were beautiful, educational, fun, and interesting, and I liked that we got to play in the grassy area in Ally Pond Park for a long time. In Sands Point, I saw beautiful large castles, Sassafras trees (with three different leaves on them), bat houses, a chipmunk, geese, dead horseshoe crabs, a nice beach, a wooly bear worm, and I got to use compasses. In Ally Pond Park, I saw many acorns, I played in the little playground and open field, I saw decomposing trees, decomposers like worms and slugs, a baby tree frog, many squirrels, and I had a mini lesson about biomes, ecology, etc. We also went to the Museum of Natural History, and it was really fun because we got to explore the museum on our own with our partners, and I bought a robot necklace. It was a lot of fun and the exhibits were really nice and the animals were so adorable! In the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, I saw beautiful swamps and rivers with tall grass, and cool wind. I saw a black cricket and a small bird skull, and a lot of geese flying together and honking at the same time which was amazing. I only wish we got to interact with animals, like holding them, petting them, or feeding them. Either way, it was a lot of fun and a good experience.
