Students learning about to survive in NYC, were able to identify edible and poisonous plants that are commonly found in NYC. Likewise, students were able to understand any medicinal uses of some these plants and any traditional/folklore associated with them.
Participants, based on their own research and field trips, were required to make a powerpoint and write an essay on all they learned and how it can assist them to survive. Here are some examples:
